We developed a bold ink blot identity in classic RGB tones, refined to reflect their luxury approach to print. The brand made its mark fast. In under a year, Alamo Prints drew the attention of a major San Antonio printer and was acquired in late 2025.

While the signature ink blot may no longer be in circulation, the proof is permanently on paper: a strong concept, clearly printed, leaves an indelible mark.

The voice was confident, direct, and unapologetically upscale, speaking to clients who demanded standout quality without the gimmicks.

Logo Description

The Alamo Prints logo captures the brand’s bold, luxury-meets-creative essence through a sophisticated yet dynamic composition. The word “Alamo” dominates in a large, elegant thin serif typeface—tall and refined, evoking timeless craftsmanship and upscale confidence—while “Prints” sits below in the same serif family but at approximately one-third the size, maintaining visual hierarchy and a clean, professional alignment.

Overlaying or positioned behind the text is a distinctive ink splat (or “color in splat”) that serves as the brand’s signature mark: an organic, abstract burst reminiscent of spilled ink, symbolizing creative spontaneity and the powerful impact of print. The primary version features a muted coral splat for a warm, approachable luxury feel, with flexible color variations available in light teal for a fresh, modern edge or soft yellow for subtle vibrancy and optimism. This versatile splat element allows the logo to adapt across applications while preserving its indelible, artistic identity—bold yet controlled, artistic yet precise—mirroring the brand’s rapid rise from startup to acquired powerhouse in under a year.

The brand built an engaging, upscale presence that emphasized quality, speed, and tangible impact. This approach positioned Alamo Prints as the go-to luxury partner for custom print needs, driving awareness, inquiries, and ultimately contributing to its swift acquisition by a major San Antonio printer in late 2025—all while proving that strong, consistent creative execution leaves an indelible mark online and off.

For a sweet Valentine’s Day promotion, we teamed up with Alamo Prints to press play on an OTT/Pre-Roll spot that proves why a card from Alamo Prints leaves all those other “boring” options in the dust—because when it comes to making an impression, theirs are always well above the fold.

With a tight turnaround and the clock already ticking, we had to move fast. In just one week, we concepted, scripted, secured a location (with a donation to a local child welfare nonprofit for the use of their space), and kept things in-house by casting the owner’s children when a formal casting call wasn’t in the cards.

The video, paired with other digital assets, combined to create a campaign that proved that when creativity and collaboration align, you can deliver something that’s anything but standard print.
